While this isn’t stenosis related, at least this first part, I have had to have another surgery. I believe I mentioned it in a previous post, but it was related to some other issues that I had previously. While those issues have resolved themselves now, it was a bit touch and go for a little Read more

I wasn’t too happy with this week. Monday I had surgery and two polyps removed. Thankfully they were begin and I don’t have to worry anymore. But while one problem was taken care of another was starting to take shape. I quickly became anemic and iron deficient and spent pretty much all week in bed. Read more

It’s been a fairly uneventful week. I’ve had tons of homework and a project for Biology that I put off until the last couple of weeks. I don’t recommend that, but I’m not a fan of Biology so there you have it. I’m having surgery on Monday for a completely unrelated issue to my stenosis. Read more

Well, the week started off promising. Other than mom having issues and requiring surgery that was treated as an emergency, things were going well this week, until Thursday. Spring Break was officially over Monday and I was back at it as far as school is concerned. Job wise, no one will hire me at a job where I need to sit. There’s no point in trying for a standing job since I don’t know when the pain will come back. So, I have Read more

Welp, I found out Wednesday that I actually will be seeing neurosurgery. I’m assuming it’s for the ‘surgery’ that I will eventually have. It feels really weird to say that I have a neurosurgeon now. Having a spinal doctor was bad enough, along with an orthopedic surgeon for the knee problems, but now I have Read more

Today was my follow up with the spine doctor. I found out about the tumor that was seen on the MRI. Thank God, it’s not a tumor. It’s just a bunch of malformed blood vessels and won’t cause me any trouble at all. On the issue of the stenosis, it’s still not a issue that Read more

Well, it’s official. I can only sleep on my back lying down for at most 3 hours at a time. This makes sleeping next to impossible. I don’t think anyone can sleep sitting up propped up on pillows; except for my dad maybe. So now, I just take naps throughout the night. Which is truly Read more

We’ve had snow this past week. While usually the only thing affected is migraines; this time the pain in my back was the worst it’s been. That being said, I was able to manage it with Ibuprofen and muscle relaxers. Before the snow came, I had gotten a balance board and was able to start Read more
